Before you pay

Before making any payment to IH Bangkok, we wish to advise you of several points:

  • Payments for teacher training courses can be made in US dollars, sterling or Thai baht (please see below for details of prices for each currency).
  • No payment should be made by any applicant until a letter of acceptance has been issued by IH Bangkok confirming the applicant's place on a course, at which time a deposit payment of $1,000 is payable.
  • Places on a course cannot be confirmed until a deposit has been paid.
  • Once paid, deposits are non-refundable.
  • Once a deposit has been paid, the candidate's place on the course is guaranteed up until the date at which the balance payment of $2,500 is due.  For D002, this is before 15th August 2012, 15th January 2013 for D003 and 15th August 2013 for D004.  The Cambridge exam fees can be paid between these dates and the first day of the course. Failure to make the balance payment will ultimately result in forfeiture of the place. Applicants applying after these dates should just make the full payment on acceptance.
  • Should a participant withdraw from a course less than one month before its commencement, the course fees will be forfeited along with the deposit.
  • All deposits and fees will be refunded in the event of a course being cancelled and if subsequent courses are not suitable for the candidate.
  • Candidates are urged to understand that there is a risk of failing and that in such an event, no money can be returned.

Payment Confirmation

Receipt of payments made will be confirmed electronically, or by phone, within three working days.

Payment Alternatives

We offer 2 options (course only / package) in 3 currencies (US dollars / sterling / Thai baht). Please do feel free to contact us at delta@ihbangkok.com should you have any doubts whatsoever- we'll be more than happy to help).

Cash

For those participants already in Thailand, a cash payment in US dollars, Thai baht or pounds sterling is possible.  All prices quoted are exclusive of the Cambridge exam registration fees.

Due to the volatility of the global economic market we can only quote a British pounds and Thai baht fee on the day of booking. Please contact us at delta@ihbangkok.com to find out that day's cost of the course in sterling or baht. Thank you.

*The Bangkok Delta & Board package uses a serviced apartment for which a 500 USD (or equivalent) refundable deposit is required. This can be deposited with the fees or on arrival. Since it is a serviced apartment and not a hotel room, bills (electricity and water) are extra. Bills will be between 2,000 and 4,000 baht depending on how much you use the air-conditioning.

Bank Transfers or deposits into our bank in Thailand

Payments can be made in Thai baht or US dollars only into our Thai bank via wire transfer or cash.

Alternatively, if you are paying from a US bank, you can also transfer the funds to us via Bangkok Bank's New York branch through the American Automated Clearing House system.  Please visit Bangkok Bank New York for instructions.

Please let us know how you intend to pay at the interview stage so that we may send you the correct bank account details in your acceptance letter.

Bank Transfers or deposits into our bank in England

Payments can be made in pounds sterling only into our British bank.  Payments from one UK bank to another should not incur any bank charges.

To ensure that we are aware of your payment you must fax, or scan and email to admin@ihbangkok.com, a copy of the SWIFT (Society World-wide Inter-bank Financial Telecommunications) message when you transfer your fees to us. Please mark the fax for the attention of Delta/Teacher Training. Make sure you retain a copy of the transfer details.

All prices that appear elsewhere on this website are written in dollars for the sake of standardisation and comparison.
